ICON Conducts CA Membership Examination Overseas for the FirstTime

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) has successfully conducted its CA Membership Examination in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, on 18 and 20 September 2026, marking a significant milestone as the firstever overseas examination centre established by ICAN.
The examination was conducted concurrently in Nepal and Dubai at the same dates and times, maintaining uniformity in examination administration and ensuring the integrity and standards of the membership examination process.
The initiative was undertaken to facilitate Nepalese accounting professionals residing and working abroad by providing greater accessibility to ICAN’s membership related processes. The establishment of an overseas examination centre reflects ICAN’s continued efforts to respond to the evolving needs of the growing community of Nepali accounting professionals across the globe.
The successful conduct of the examination in Dubai represents an important step in the modernization, international outreach, and accessibility of ICAN’s examination and professional services. It also demonstrates the Institute’s commitment to extending its services beyond Nepal while maintaining the required standards of examination administration, confidentiality, and integrity.
